Poem for my Alma mater

 Will you recognize me AEC?

We mingled, we built friendship

We crafted and drafted our dreams

Our ears filled with Ali Haider melodies

Sourced from that evergreen canteen.

The bus would stop for a golden shower

To end the waiting period for the girls.

As our curious minds perceived colors of life

There were smiles all over, colorful and live;

Those were the days, today I tell myself

A trillion moments later as I deep dive.

But.. will I be lost if I go back in time??

Whether my alma mater would ever welcome this version of mine?

Perhaps no vice versa to “I miss those days”

But they remain unfaded in their own ways.
